How recommending, fees and membership work on Role Reward, and what we do with your details.

Recommending

You can recommend one person per role.
We email the person you recommend, and send one reminder after three days if they haven't replied.
The company only sees them if they say yes. If they say no, we tell you.
The company sees what you wrote, word for word, with your name, headline and LinkedIn.

Referral fee. The company offered it publicly and pays you directly. Role Reward doesn't pay it or collect it.
Hiring reward. The company posted the role with us. We pay you by bank transfer, in the role's currency. Some roles also pay a smaller reward if your candidate is interviewed.
When you're paid depends on the company. It's usually when the hire starts, and sometimes after they pass probation.

If someone brought you to Role Reward, by inviting you or through a link they shared, any hiring reward you earn is split 90/10. You keep 90% and they get 10%.
It works both ways: you get 10% of the hiring rewards earned by people you bring in.
It goes one level only, and referral fees paid directly by companies are never split.
Example: you invite a former colleague, and she recommends someone who is hired for a £3,000 reward. She receives £2,700 and you receive £300.

Only members can recommend. Members are top performers in sales, marketing, product, design and revenue.
You join by invitation from a member, or by applying. We vet every application for a relevant network and expertise.
If you say yes to a recommendation, you become a member automatically.
Members start with three invitations, get one more when someone they recommend is interviewed, and two more when someone is hired.

Posting a role is free. You set the hiring reward, and you can add a smaller reward for each candidate you interview.
You pay the reward plus our 20% fee when the hire starts. Interview rewards are invoiced monthly.
If the hire leaves within 60 days, the reward carries over to your next hire on Role Reward.
If you offered a referral fee publicly, we may list your role for free, summarised in our words with a link to your post. You can claim it for free, or ask us to take it down and we will do so the same day. Our fee only applies if you promote the role to our members, and only to candidates recommended after that.
We check every new company and role before it goes live, usually within a day.

We keep the minimum: names, email addresses, LinkedIn links and what people write in recommendations.
A candidate's details only reach a company after the candidate says yes.
Members, and anyone who signs up for role alerts, get a weekly email of new roles in their fields. Every one has an unsubscribe link.
